Services

These services are the core of what I do, however, they are not all inclusive. Every patient and situation is unique, requiring different approaches and solutions. If you want to learn more or see if we are a good fit, book a discovery call. Navigating the healthcare system is difficult and I am happy to help.

1

Medication Assistance

Every year in the US, 7,000-9,000 people die as a result of medication errors. On top of that, hundreds of thousands of other patients experience adverse reactions or other medical complications. Patients experience psychological and physical pain because of these errors. It also leads to decreased patient satisfaction, contributing to the growing lack of trust in the healthcare system*.

I CAN...

  • Ensure correct medication, dose, and frequency, including a review of any excessive/unnecessary medications

  • Optimize therapeutic outcomes for each unique patient, changing medications with direction of your medical provider if necessary

  • Perform a comprehensive medication review to identify, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems, including adverse drug reactions

  • Provide education and training designed to enhance patient understanding and appropriate use of medications, tailored specifically for you

  • Streamline communication about medications between different providers to increase safety

  • Partner with healthcare professionals to agree on treatment plans and ensure patients are equipped to manage medications safely

  • Provide information, support services, and resources designed to enhance patient adherence with therapeutic regimens

Decision-Making Assistance

To be clear, I do not make personal healthcare decisions for you but rather empower you to make an informed decision with all possible options explained. Information is power and every case is different–you need someone who knows the healthcare system inside and out. Listening is crucial in this step–I will respect your preferences and work with you to accomplish decision-making that is beneficial to you. In many healthcare settings, alternative treatments and preferences are not discussed. I am here to make sure those options are available.

I CAN...

  • Assist in finding relevant resources that can help you navigate options

  • Support decision-making abilities and preferences

  • Support medical care that is based on your individual needs

  • Ensure access to and receipt of informational resources that allow for well-informed decisions

3

Medical Assistance

I can assist you by reviewing diagnoses, treatment options, test records, medical records, and any other medical documentation to ensure you are getting a treatment plan that is most effective for you. My ultimate goal is to help you get back to optimal health with the least amount of obstacles possible.

I CAN...

  • Arrange, coordinate, and attend medical appointments (in-person or virtual)

  • Communicate with healthcare providers

  • Speak up about patient rights

  • Explain confusing medical information

  • Clarify diagnoses & conditions

  • Coordinate care between specialists

  • Identify health resources & assist in referral process

4

Insurance Assistance

Health insurance and other billing issues can be very complicated. I am available to help clear up confusion and provide clear and actionable steps that will lead to solutions. Oftentimes, patients don't know what is and isn't covered by their insurance. For example, it is not uncommon for a patient to leave a pharmacy empty-handed because of a required prior authorization from their insurance company.

I CAN...

  • Help you understand a bill and identify next steps

  • Communicate with providers and insurance companies on your behalf

  • Help with medication approval and prior authorizations

  • Ensure access to all resources that allow for well-informed decisions and next steps
